This 3-day, Operation and Troubleshooting of Juniper Networks Routers (OTJNR) course prepares students, combined with additional training
courses, for the JNO-303 exam, and JNCIS-M Certification.
The OTJNR Juniper Networks course is an intermediate-level, instructor-led course that focuses on the operation and troubleshooting of Juniper Networks M-series and T-series platforms. This course exposes attendees to fault analysis procedures and troubleshooting techniques similar to those used by engineers in the Juniper Networks Technical Assistance Center (JTAC) to enable rapid problem determination and resolution. Please note that this course does not focus on configuration or on routing protocol operation/theory.
The Juniper Networks OTJNR course allocates significant time for a variety of hands-on troubleshooting labs that focus on fault isolation and correction actions for M-series and T-series hardware, JUNOS software, interfaces and transmission lines, routing protocols, and the forwarding plane. The course also provides coverage of JTAC procedures and recommended best practices that assist in fault isolation.
Juniper Networks Technical Certification
This OTJNR course also prepares students for the Juniper Networks Certification exam, whose topics are based on the content of this course. Upon completion of this course combined with additional practice, students should be able to pass the JNCIS-M Certification exam (JN0-303). The Juniper Networks Technical Certification Program (JNTCP) consists of platform-specific, multitiered tracks, which enable participants to demonstrate, through a combination of written proficiency exams and hands-on configuration and troubleshooting exams, competence with Juniper Networks technology.
Target Audience
Network engineers, support personnel, reseller support, and others responsible for implementing Juniper routing products utilizing the JUNOS features covered in this class.
Objectives
The Juniper Networks OTJNR course combines both lecture and labs, with significant time allocated for hands-on experience with JUNOS Internet software configuration, operation, and protocol and platform troubleshooting. DWWTC is able to deliver this class on premises only, please contact our Sales team to coordinate onsite events.
The three-day Juniper Networks OTJNR class is the recommended prerequisite for attendance of the Introduction to Juniper Networks Routers (IJNR-M) class, which focuses on routing protocol theory and configuration.
